A humanitarian community service initiative led by Rotaract Club of Baridhara was successfully implemented with the continuous support and guidance of the Rotary Club of Baridhara. From Planning to Purpose
The journey of the program began with careful planning and a venue reconnaissance (reccy) conducted by members of the Rotaract Club. A ground-level assessment was carried out at the Aftabnagar slum area to understand local needs and ensure that support would reach the most vulnerable households. This preparatory phase was essential to design a fair, transparent, and well-organized distribution process.
Community-Centered Implementation
Following the assessment, households in greatest need were identified through direct engagement with the community. To maintain order and fairness, a structured approach was adopted, ensuring that assistance would be delivered smoothly and respectfully. The distribution day was executed as planned, with volunteers working together to ensure that support reached the intended families in a dignified manner.
Collaboration and Leadership
The initiative was implemented under the leadership of the Rotaract Club of Baridhara, with overall support from Tapash Kumar Saha and the Rotary Club of Baridhara. Members from the Rotaract and Interact Clubs actively participated throughout the process—from assessment and coordination to on-ground distribution—demonstrating the strength of collaboration within the Rotary family.
